Zenith Infotech is recruiting Technical Specialists for its Network Operations Center (NOC) in Mumbai.

Server Engineer/Senior Server Engineer

Job Description:
• To provide remote infrastructure support on various tier 3/4 technical issues to global customers on Microsoft platform.
• Windows server support and management duties includes systems administration, monitoring and management, process automation, training and mentoring of junior staff, support of server remediation initiatives, support of backup & virtualization and troubleshooting/problem resolution.
• Responsible to deployment team performing activities related to system implementation, upgrades and installation of applications and Window update.
• Work closely with Application Development for building smart monitoring rules, respond to business requirements and to implement enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

Technical Skills:
• In depth knowledge on all aspects of Windows 2000/2003/2008 for example, Operating System & troubleshooting application after virtualization and Bare Metal Restore with good understanding on providing disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong Messaging support and engineering skills on Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003 & 2007.
• Well versed in TCP/IP, DNS, NLB, DHCP, DFS, AD, Terminal Server troubleshooting.

Additional Exposure (on any of the following):
• IIS/Web Services
• Backup & Disaster Recovery Solutions
• Security Products – ISA, VPN, Firewalls
• Microsoft Sharepoint
• Blackberry / Citrix
